AMDISA, as of June 2008, has a membership of 199 Management Development Institutions, 169 of which are Institutional Members, 2 Affiliate members, 14 are Corporate Members drawn from 8 South Asian Countries. 14 are Reciprocal Members located outside South Asia.

Corporate Members include those management development centres which are promoted by corporate enterprises primarily for development of their own executives; also Corporate Institutions which offer management training, consultancy and research services to public and private enterprises.

To the corporation, the association offers its publications, serials and invitations to forums, and provides benefits through :

• Participation in faculty/management development programmes

• Institution building assistance in management development centres

• Opportunities to present their ideas, experiences and thoughts on cooperation within SAARC

• A forum for industry leaders, professors and policy makers to interact and exchange expertise
  

Institutional Members are educational institutions providing management education and engaged in research and consultancy activities. These include University Schools, Departments, Faculty or autonomous institutions offering Post-graduate management education and institutions offering distance learning in management. These institutions must be non-profit organisations.

They receive all AMDISA publications i.e; the Newsletter, the Journal, the Fact Book, Union Catalogue of Serials or any special publications. They also receive institutional building assistance, invitations to workshops, seminars, forum etc, besides the opportunity to access Global Management data through AMDISA.

They include institutions with similar objectives outside South Asia. They also receive all AMDISA publications, announcements and invitations.
