Roundtable: “Enhancing Intra-Regional Connectivity:
Issues and Approaches in South Asia”

The meeting of the Ministers of Transport of SAARC countries held in Colombo last August agreed to recommend to the SAARC Council of Ministers that the decade of 2010-2020 may be declared as the SAARC Decade for Strengthening Intra-Regional Connectivity.

In the context of the above, a Roundtable Discussion Workshop is planned on 14th to 16th of February, 2010 at the India International Centre, New Delhi. Ambassador (Retd.) Kant K. Bhargava, former Secretary General of SAARC has taken the initiative.

AMDISA and SACEPS, both “SAARC Recognized Bodies”, are hosting the event from 14th to 16th February, 2010 in cooperation with Friedrich Ebert-Stiftung at the India International Centre, 40, Max Mueller Marg, New Delhi. Participation in the Roundtable is by invitation.
