EFMD Announces 2nd Global Peter Drucker Management Forum

18th to 19th November, 2010

at Vienna, Austria

The 2nd Global Peter Drucker Management Forum is approaching – with an exciting programme and world class speakers.

The Vienna Forum on November 18 and 19 will not only see seasoned top managers, non-profit and public sector leaders as well as academics discussing the challenges for management in the "Next Society" – there will also be a significant contingent representing the young generation. They are the 40 winners of the global Peter Drucker Challenge Essay Contest sponsored by EFMD, Deutsche Telekom and Emerald Group Publishing. The turn-out for the contest was excellent with 214 essays submitted – which meant hard work for a high ranking Jury, chaired by Prof. Danica Purg, just elected "Dean of the year" by the Academy for International Business (AIB) with John Peters, Chief Executive Emerald Group Publishing and Elizabeth Haas-Edersheim, author of "The Definitive Drucker" as members. The top three winners will also be invited to join an exclusive event on November 17 with a group of executives and academics on "Innovation as a social responsibility". The results of the contest will be published beginning of next week.

The participants of the Peter Drucker Management Forum will draw significant benefits from the event
